Live 3D TEE provides cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and cardiac surgeons with innovative, inspiring, and realistic views to aid patient care. 3D TEE will be critical in guiding procedures involving the mitral valve, the intra-atrial septum, and the left atrium. This is the first Philips class dedicated to 3D TEE that uses an indication-based approach. Some of the more popular features of the other classes (for example, specimen dissection and recipe approaches) are incorporated.
This intensive one-day course is not just about lectures and case presentations. It's about hands-on learning. You'll engage in informal discussions and participate in wet lab porcine heart dissections, all under the guidance of Brian D. Hoit, M.D., FACC, FAHA, FASE, a renowned expert in the field. This practical approach will help you master the techniques for interpreting 3D cardiac images.
This course is specifically designed for physicians and sonographers who are actively involved in Live 3D TEE studies. However, it's important to note that this course does not provide system control training. If you're looking for system instrumentation training regarding Live 3D, we recommend our Advanced System Training Cardiovascular Live 3D course.
Prerequisite skills: This program requires a thorough knowledge and understanding of all system instrumentation and 2D TEE. An understanding of transthoracic 3D imaging is also helpful.
