Register What you will learn Course description: This training is intended to introduce the basics of Trans Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) including an overview on how to scan prior to a TAVI procedure, how to perform TAVI measurements, and an overview of the sizing and types of valves used in TAVI and the anatomy of the aortic valve and coronary cusps. Currency: USDCourse objectives: After successfully completing this course, you will be able to: Describe the basic procedure for a TAVI. Explain how to scan for a TAVI procedure. Define the different scan type for a TAVI procedure. Scan a patient for a TAVI procedure. Create an Exam Card for a 4cm detector scanner and an 8 cm and above detector scanner. Recognize the coronary cusps. Recognize the aortic valve and common anomalies. Perform the basic measurements for a TAVI procedure and assess the information using the TAVI Analysis software.
