Course description: 

This workshop is designed to help you lead more interactive and engaging meetings, interactions, and group sessions that foster learning and even innovation. In this hands-on class, you will participate in creative activities and learn how to use techniques and tools to confidently and actively facilitate others in your meetings and projects. At the end of the experience you will get to design your own mini-session using the tools and activities provided and facilitate it to generate ideas for a challenge you wish to focus on.

• Use simple frameworks to design for multiple group dynamics

• Gain a toolkit of techniques and approaches you can use immediately on your own and with groups

• Participate in simple activities such as BrainRain, Bounce, and Think-Pair-Share, that you can facilitate too

• Design your own session to facilitate in your work for your challenge and participate in others’ creations
