Ultrasound laboratory accreditation requires the structural and electrical integrity of the TEE transducer must be checked between each use, using an ultrasound transducer leakage tester. The TEE Electrical Leakage Testing course covers the reasons for performing leakage testing and the recommended steps in the process.
