Register What you will learn Course description: This is a 5-days Instructor-Led lab course, the engineer will learn about CardioMD I, II, and III, and has been updated with CardioMD IV information. Engineers already trained in NM3070. Will be considered compliant for CardioMD IV. The CardioMD course provides the engineer the opportunity to operate, calibrate and test the subassemblies of the Cardio MD gantry. The engineer will exercise correct safety measures to assure proper operation of the Cardio MD with an emphasis on Patient Safety. In addition, the engineer will perform gantry calibration and verification of absolute encoders through the use of service manuals and related tools. Furthermore, the engineer will perform detector calibrations. Finally, the engineer will learn how to test and diagnose Canbus motor controllers as well as EDC detector modules incorporated in the Cardio MD Gantry. Troubleshooting is incorporated through the program. Evaluation of student performance includes quizzes, laboratory skills, and the use of calibration devices. Course objectives: Upon successful completion of the course the learner will be able to: Install the system from pre-site evaluation to completion Evaluate the system to determine that all electrical and signal cables are properly connected for normal system operation Perform standard scan sequences to obtain diagnostic images for use in image quality evaluation Identify the various electrical and mechanical safety hazards associated with each procedure Perform all service-level calibration procedures to bring the system within specification for performing normal diagnostic imaging scans Perform all service-level planned maintenance procedures Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults in the system using the proper tools and test equipment, and following the proper procedures Successfully remove and replace field-replaceable-units Course details Course Code: NM3070Delivery method: Instructor-led Language: English Duration: 5 Days Course disclaimer: The content is for information and education only.
